The Hidden Gem in Plain Sight: Simplifying Lead Generation in Online Marketing

GIRL, if you're juggling a million things in your business

and still not seeing results, this one's for you.

I stumbled upon this TikTok video that got me thinking, and I just had to share my thoughts with you. The guy in the video was talking about the differences between poor, middle-class, and rich people in business.

He broke it down like this:

  • Poor people worry about everything at once: brand colors, sales, leads, fulfillment, websites, and so on.
  • Middle-class people juggle sales, leads, and fulfillment, sometimes in a cycle, sometimes all at once.
  • Rich people focus solely on leads and outsource everything else.

Now, here’s the kicker: at the end of his video, he asked people to comment the word "leads" for more information on how to work like the rich group

Tons of people did just that.

But here's the funny part – the video itself was a lead generator, a clever lead magnet at that!

Everyone commenting "leads" fed right into his strategy. The information was right in front of them, and they played the role of the "customer of the byproduct."

That’s what I love about being a marketer – catching these strategies in action and breaking them down so we can use them without all the extra steps. This video reminded me of how much information is right in front of us online every day, yet it often goes over a lot of people's heads because we as people over-complicate things.

As a digital marketing and brand strategist/manager, my goal is to make things like this easy to understand and implement for other womenpreneurs. I want you to see these gems and use them to your advantage.

Now let's be real – every aspect he mentioned (brand colors, sales, leads, fulfillment, websites) is important. The key is knowing how to prioritize and delegate.

Let's unpack this...

1. LEADS: Yes, they are important for the growth of your business. But focusing solely on leads without a strategy for nurturing them can be a missed opportunity. You need a system to convert those leads into loyal customers. Retaining those loyal customers is what will keep your business afloat.

Think rewards systems, fostering and nurturing those customer relationships, etc.

2. SALES: This is where understanding your customer's journey and making sure your sales process is smooth and gets customers into your sales conversion funnel (You y'all want to know more about sales conversion funnels - please comment and let me know or email me...and I'll do a separate post on that).

3. FULFILLMENT: Fulfillment is simply delivering on whatever you promised your customer. This is non-negotiable. Happy customers lead to repeat business and referrals. period.

4. BRAND COLORS/WEBSITE: These aren't just aesthetic colors and choices. They are part of your brand identity, helping you stand out and connect with your audience on an emotional level. When customer's see your brand colors they should instantly think of your brand. Personal Branding does the same thing but your face + personality replace those aspects. I do a combination of both.

Now let's talk about outsourcing...

Outsourcing isn't just for the rich. It's about smart delegation. Know your strengths and find reliable partners or team members for the rest. This allows you to focus on what you do best – growing your business and making strategic decisions.

Outsource your marketing and look into hiring a marketing manager

The point is, prioritize what moves the needle for your business. Remember, complexity is the enemy of execution. The simpler your strategy, the easier it is to implement and see results. Period

When The Truth Get's Twisted & You're Left To Drown

It’s incredibly exhausting when you’re drowning, flailing, barely keeping your head above water, and people can’t see it or don't want to.  Like you’re out here fighting for your life, and instead of throwing you a lifeline, they’re either telling you to figure it out on your own or asking why you didn’t save them . Like… how? I can’t even save myself. And let’s not pretend this isn’t a thing .  How many people battling addiction, struggling with mental health, or even unaliving themselves were treated this same way?   Does anyone ever wonder how they got to that point or did they just detach and judge them?  Were they left to fend for themselves because, apparently, helping them wasn’t anyone’s “ responsibility .”  If it’s not our moral obligation to help each other—especially the people closest to us—then what’s the point anyway? Yes, there are situations people need to handle on their own.  Yes, there are lessons they’ll only learn through struggle....

Ariel Pryor Didn’t Just Go Viral. She Built a Brand With Strategy Most of Y’all Overlook. She’s not just a pretty face on Instagram with multiple viral reels. She’s a  strategist  in soft life packaging. And if you’re not paying attention to the  why  behind her content, you’ll miss the entire blueprint. This isn’t about copying her vibe. It’s about understanding her  strategy , applying it to your own business, and realizing that you don’t need to be her to build like her. But you do need a plan. So Who Is Ariel Pryor? By 21, she: • Made six figures doing hair • Flipped it into real estate + a salon • Built a mentorship brand and digital product empire • Branded herself as a 7-figure coach without ever sounding like one And she did all of that by turning her  life into leverage . Not a resume. Not a funnel. A whole vibe backed by results. But here’s the part I want y’all to really understand:  What you see on social now is not her starting poi...

Would You Take Your Own Advice? Be Honest.

You ever notice how people will give advice like it’s the key to life, but when you ask them if they’d follow it in your shoes, they get quiet real quick?  It’s like they’ve got all the answers until the spotlight’s on them  and it’s giving ‘Do as I say, not as I do.’  And, honestly, I’ve been there too. I'm no better. I’ve had those moments where I’ve given advice I wouldn’t even take myself.  But self-reflection teaches you a lot about how and why you give advice and why sometimes, we need to check ourselves. Let's unpack that!
