Why I’m Niching Down and Shifting Focus: A New Chapter in My Journey

Heyyy, sis 🫢🏽!

I’ve got some major updates that I’m excited to share with you. If you’ve been following along, you know I’ve been in the digital marketing game for a while. (The real digital marketing game *cough cough*)

But lately, I’ve been feeling a bit disconnected and pulled in a specific direction. Sales have been steady, but my heart hasn’t been entirely in it for a while. I’ve been serving just TOO many of the wrong people who just aren’t valuing my services and aren’t really passionate about their business.

BUT, I’m ready to dive headfirst into what truly sets my soul on fire: working with women whose businesses light them up and investing in the power of content to drive real sales.

So, you’re probably curious about what exactly is changing? Glad you asked. 🀣

I’m pivoting from positioning myself as a Digital Marketing Strategist to Content Marketing Strategist for one. (Digital Marketing Agency ➡️ Social Media Marketing Agency)

Basically I’m transitioning from a broad digital marketing agency role to focusing specifically on social media marketing. I really want to zero in on content marketing, design, and strategy – the stuff that gets people off their feeds and into your sales funnel

That means…

πŸ’” No more handling ads/PPC

πŸ’” No engaging with accounts on your behalf (sorry)

I’m focused on creating, designing, and strategizing content that converts.

This means…

🩷 Creating killer content

🧑 Shooting in-person sessions

πŸ’œ Designing virtual assets

🩷 Creating strategic email content

🀍 and handling SEO

Let’s talk about what services and offers you can still expect

I’m excited to offer…

🧑 In-person content days: where we’ll work together to create content that resonates deeply with your audience and aligns with your brand.

🩷 I’m revamping my approach to social media content: to make sure it’s not only aligned with your brand but also drives results.

πŸ’œ Brand design service of course & brand coaching

So, if you’re looking for a content marketing strategist who specializes in these areas, let’s connect sis!

Now I’ve been through transitions before – like when I shifted my boutique from pink and girly to alternative and emo.

I’m approaching this shift with the same strategy and smarter planning.

Like I already have a flexible role helping kids with special needs lined up. Anyone who knows me knows this hits home, as a month with a special needs kid. So, this aligns perfectly with my personal goals. Plus, this transition will help me reach my personal savings goals. (A wins a wins sis.)

All in all, I’m thrilled about this new direction and can’t wait to work with amazing women entrepreneurs who are as passionate as I am.

Thanks for being on this journey with me!

Oh and P.S…

For the girls who excel in areas I’m stepping away from, like ads, PPC, or social media account engagement, I’d love to partner with you. I’m looking to collaborate with experts in these fields to provide comprehensive solutions for my clients. If you’re interested in teaming up, let’s make it happen shoot me an email. sherichdigital@gmail.com

Stop Waiting for Opportunity to Come to You

Sis, let me be real with you for a minute. A couple of months ago, I had enough.  Enough of waiting around for something to happen. Enough of hoping that some magical opportunity would just fall into my lap.  You know what I realized? Opportunities aren’t just handed out like party favors. They can be given, sure, but just as easily snatched away. So I decided—I wasn’t going to sit around and wait for someone to open a door for me. I was going to kick that door down and create my own damn opportunities. And that’s exactly what I did. My best friend and I decided to take a risk and host our first women’s meet-up and networking event. We didn’t wait for an invitation to someone else’s table—we built our own.  And guess what? It was a hit.  We didn’t know all the answers, and we definitely didn’t have everything figured out. But we took the leap anyway, and it paid off big time. So, what opportunities are you waiting on?  You’re sitting there wishing you had more m...

Rediscovering My Dream: From Boutique Burnout to Fulfillment

Girl, let me share something raw with you.  There’s a huge difference between chasing a goal and living a dream. Tabitha Brown said it best—goals are just things you wake up one day and decide to do.  Maybe it’s because you saw someone else do it, and you thought, “I want that too.”  But a dream? A dream is different.  A dream is that thing that keeps you up at night, the purpose deep inside you that God planted there.  It’s the thing that tugs at your heart, no matter how busy life gets. I’ll be honest with you—that did something in my spirit. It really got me thinking like, my boutique used to be my everything. It was my passion, the thing I couldn’t wait to pour myself into.  But over time, it started to feel like just another job.  It became a task on my to-do list, a chore, something I had to get through rather than something I loved. When burnout hit, I wasn’t rushing to get back to it. I felt stuck. So, I asked myself, “What is my real dr...

When The Truth Get's Twisted & You're Left To Drown

It’s incredibly exhausting when you’re drowning, flailing, barely keeping your head above water, and people can’t see it or don't want to.  Like you’re out here fighting for your life, and instead of throwing you a lifeline, they’re either telling you to figure it out on your own or asking why you didn’t save them . Like… how? I can’t even save myself. And let’s not pretend this isn’t a thing .  How many people battling addiction, struggling with mental health, or even unaliving themselves were treated this same way?   Does anyone ever wonder how they got to that point or did they just detach and judge them?  Were they left to fend for themselves because, apparently, helping them wasn’t anyone’s “ responsibility .”  If it’s not our moral obligation to help each other—especially the people closest to us—then what’s the point anyway? Yes, there are situations people need to handle on their own.  Yes, there are lessons they’ll only learn through struggle....
